Unofficial CyanogenMod 10 Jelly Bean [15.09.2012 - nightly] Galaxy Mini [Fixed camera]

Another major update for Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for Galaxy Mini or Pop GT-S5570 is now available for download. Thanks to the courtesy of the developers at xda forums, the development of jelly bean based cyanogenmod 10 custom rom for galaxy mini is running at a fast pace. With this update, we've got some major changes such as partiallyworking camera, full OpenGL support and other bug fixes. With all these changes, latest cyanogenmod 10 nightly comes with further improvements on performance and stability. Therefore, it stands as a must-flash update for those who are looking to enjoy latest android software on their galaxy mini or pop gt-s5570 smartphone.


As stated above, Cyanogenmod 10 for galaxy mini has improved a lot since it's original stage of development. With the latest nightly released on 2012/08/31, the camera works fine, however, without the support of video recording. XDA Senior Member, TheWhisp along with rohan007,erikcas and hrk is working hard to resolve this issue, but there's no saying when we can except it be working (if at all). Apart from this, other issues within the rom at this stage are very less and not the major ones. Native WiFi tethering and Native USB tethering are not workingfor now. However, using third party applications should help you get around this issue. Also, High Quality (HQ) video playback is not workingproperly. The developer said that it is due to the lack of OpenMax libraries from Qualcomm which was denied to be released by the corporation back few months. So, until the developers come up with some workaround, there's doubt if CM10 will be able to play HQ videos at all. 

Cyanogenmod 10 20120831 for Samsung Galaxy Mini has fixes for various bugs that appeared in previous nightlies. Now, Native USB Mass Storage (UMS) is working just fine, so you don't need to worry about mounting your sdcard to your PC to copy contents to and from your mobile. Also, the developer made many other changes which are listed in the changelog below that I extracted from the developer's thread.

Flashing Instructions


Disclaimer : Do It At Your Own Risk!
  1. Download required files and updates from here :
  2. Copy the downloaded files to the (root directory of) your sd-card.
  3. Reboot your device to Custom Recovery (Press Home + Power Button).
  4. [Optional but, Recommended] Do a Nandroid Backup of your current rom.
  5. Now from recovery main menu and select Wipe Data option.
  6. Confirm data wipe by selecting Yes.
  7. Now flash this latest nightly of Android 4.1.1 jellybean based CM10 custom rom following the steps below in clockworkmod recovery :
    • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card option.
    • Select Choose Zip From SD Card option.
    • Now select cm-10-20120831-UNOFFICIAL-tass.zip downloaded in step 1.
    • Confirm the installation and wait till the rom is installed on you handset.
  8. Flash Latest Google Apps for Jelly Bean in CWM recovery.  
    • Choose Install Zip From Sd Card option.
    • Select Choose Zip From SD Card option.
    • Now select the gapps-jb-20120815-KonstaKANG.zip file which you downloaded in step 1.
    • Confirm the installation and wait till the zip is installed on you handset.
  9. Reboot your device from your recovery main menu when done. 
Note : If gapps from above doesn't work, use this one : Gapps-JellyBeans.zip

That's all. You've successfully flashed latest android 4.1.1 update on your Samsung Galaxy Mini Smart phone. If you find out any bugs that are not mentioned above then, please report them at the developer's Github Issues List. Langkah 1

Trik Berantas Iklan di Aplikasi Android dengan Adfree

Lagii asyik2-nya maen game ato buka app yang laen, eh malah iklannya yang ke buka. Weww..!!! Dah gitu paket data atau paket internet (bagi yang volume based / kuota) juga akan cepat habis. Ya, walaupun iklannya itu cuma kelihatan kecil begitu tapi dampaknya itu lho… 5kb x 1000 = 5MB x 30 = 150MB (Nih buat yang suka OL di hp tiap hari). Lha, sebulan langganan paket data: 500MB, dah kepotong 150MB, tinggal 350MB. Yah…! Mana cukup buat 1 bulan. :(
So, maka dari itu berantas iklan-iklannya!!! 
Caranya:
Yang pertama, beli / install app yang berbayar. Pasti, dijamin 100%!!! Gak bakalan muncul tuh iklannya. Tapi, sayangnya google cuma nerima pake Credit Card.
So, perlu cari alternatif laen, yang pasti yang gretongan alias FREE!!!
Yaitu AdFree. Says: bye bye iklan…
Tapi untuk bisa menggunakan app ini, ada syaratnya, yaitu smartphone harus sudah di root. This app is support for root user only . Kalo belum di root, silakan baca ini.

GUIDE:

1. Install AdFree (search) lewat market atau disini
2. Buka app AdFree, touch Boot Normally. Terus centang (check) seperti gambar di bawah ini. Lalu touch Download & Install Hosts.
3. Tunggu sampai muncul pesan Success! Setelah itu restart smartphone (matikan dan hidupkan kembali).

    1. MORe adalah custom rom. MORe is a custom rom.
    • Kenapa namanya MORe? Why the name is MORe?
    1. MORe diambil dari kata ROM, dan kenapa MORe? karena orang Indonesia suka membalikkan kata-kata, jadi kata ROM itu saya balik menjadi MOR. Karaoke di Android Jadi lebih Asyik dengan TTPod

Saat ini ada banyak pilihan aplikasi musik player untuk Android. Sebagian ada yang berbayar, ada pula sebagian yang gratis. TTPod merupakan salah satu yang cukup digemari dan paling banyak di unduh melalui Android Market (Google Play Store). Aplikasi ini sebenarnya sudah lumayan populer dan dikenal sejak sistem operasi Symbian masih mendominasi pasar ponsel pintar. Apa saja kelebihannya? Mari kita bahas satu persatu.
        1.      Gratis

TTPod merupakan aplikasi musik player gratis untuk Android. Walaupun app ini memiliki banyak kelebihan, namun sang developer berbaik hati memperbolehkan kita menggunakan semua fitur yang ada pada musik player ini tanpa perlu bayar. Dan hebatnya lagi, walau gratis tetapi kita tidak akan diganggu oleh tampilnya iklan yang pada umumnya ditemukan pada aplikasi gratisan.
                
          2.   Bisa Karaoke-an

Salah satu fitur unggulan TTPod adalah menampilkan lirik lagu. Lyric yang ditampilkan tidaklah statis melainkan berjalan mengikuti alunan penyanyi, cocok bagi Anda yang gemar karaoke. Anda tidak perlu repot-repot mencari dan mengunduh (download) lirik lagu yang dimainkan karena apabila koneksi internet handphone atau tablet Android Anda aktif, program ini akan melakukannya secara otomatis. Apabila lyric lagu tidak sesuai waktunya (timing) saat dimainkan, tidak perlu khawatir karena dapat diatur agar pas. Kekurangnya adalah, rata-rata lirik yang tersedia hanyalah untuk musik dari luar negeri. Untuk musik Indonesia sering kali tidak ada (Cannot find lyric).      3.   Album Cover

Bila file lagu tidak memiliki Album Art (Cover), TTPod dapat mencari dan mengunduhnya secara otomatis selama koneksi internet perangkat aktif. Namun bila Anda tidak menginginkannya (misalnya tidak ingin pulsa terpotong), maka fitur ini dapat dimatikan.

       4.      10 Band Equalizer + Bass Boost

TTPOD adalah satu dari sedikit aplikasi musik player untuk Android yang memiliki fitur Equalizerditambah dengan Bass Boost yang berguna untuk menambah suara Bass agar lebih “nendang”. Terdapat 7 preset EQ yang bisa dipilih yaitu Normal, Rock, Popular, Dance, Hip Hop, Heavy Metals dan Bass. Bila tidak puas dengan settingan bawaan, Anda dapat mengaturnya secara manual.

    5.   Sleep

Fitur Sleep berguna untuk mematikan aplikasi secara otomatis dalam waktu tertentu (dalam hitungan menit). Sangat berguna bagi Anda (dan saya :) ) yang sering menyalakan aplikasi musik player untuk mengantar tidur namun tidak ingin terus menyala sampai waktunya bangun.

    6.   Memainkan musik berdasarkan folder

Fitur ini memang tidak terlalu istimewa, namun tidak semua aplikasi musik untuk Android memiliki fasilitas ini. Menurut saya play by folder merupakan fitur yang cukup penting karena biasanya pengguna membedakan jenis musik atau penyanyi dengan cara meletakkannya pada folder yang berbeda. Bila fitur ini tidak ada, biasanya untuk membedakan satu lagu dengan lagu lainnya hanya berdasarkan tagyang belum tentu semua file musik memilikinya.

    7.   Quick Search

TTPod memiliki fasilitas Filter (search) untuk mencari salah satu atau beberapa lagu berdasarkan nama artis maupun berdasarkan judul lagu. Kelebihan TTPod dibanding aplikasi musik player lainnya adalah dapat melakukan pencarian file musik dengan cepat dan akurat. Sangat berguna bagi Anda yang memiliki file musik dengan jumlah ratusan atau bahkan ribuan.
    
    8.   Skin

Bila Anda bosan dengan tampilan bawaan, Anda dapat mengunduh skin atau tema aplikasi ini secara gratis. Cukup banyak tampilan yang bisa dipilih dengan tampilan yang menarik.

Demikianlah beberapa kelebihan aplikasi musik player untuk Android TTPod. Walaupun memiliki banyak kelebihan, namun tentu saja tidak luput dari kekurangan. Kekurangannya adalah beberapa tampilan menunya masih dalam bahasa China, namun jangan khawatir karena Anda tidak akan terlalu sulit dalam menggunakan aplikasi ini.
Kekurangan yang kedua adalah kualitas suara yang dihasilkan walaupun terbilang baik namun masih ada yang lebih bagus. Tapi sebagai informasi, aplikasi yang memiliki suara lebih bagus tersebut adalah aplikasi berbayar (tidak gratis), jadi bisa dibilang untuk ukuran aplikasi “gratisan”, kualitas suaranya (dan fitur tambahan lainnya) sudah jauh lebih dari cukup. Bila Anda penasaran, disarankan segera mencobanya dengan cara mengunduhnya langsung melalui Google Play Store (Market) atau disini.
